<div class="accordion-item-content-padding">A Master Key is an additional password that allows you to:

	<li>Prevent an unwanted password reset, even if your <a href="https://support.kraken.com/hc/articles/360021870651" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">email account is compromised</a> (If enabled, the Master Key is required to reset your Kraken sign-In password).</li>
	<li><a href="https://support.kraken.com/hc/articles/201889308" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bypass sign-in Two-factor Authentication (2FA)</a> if you lose access to it (for this reason, sign-in 2FA and Master Key should always be kept separate).</li>
	<li><a href="https://support.kraken.com/hc/articles/360024004711" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Turn off the Global Settings Lock (GSL)</a> immediately if enabled on your account.</li>

	A USB device that you insert into your computer which generates a unique passcode every time you touch or tap the device. This unique passcode would be, in this case, your Master Key and it would change with every use.</li>

	Usually installed on a smartphone and generates a 6-8 digit passcode every 30 seconds. As with a Hardware Security Key, this unique passcode would be your Master Key and would change with each use.</li>
	<li>Static password (least secure; not recommended)<br />
	To be used if you want your Master Key to be a text password of your choice. As a static password does not change with each use, it&rsquo;s less secure than the other options and should be long and complex enough not to be guessed.</li>

<div class="accordion-item-content-padding">Kraken fees for buying, selling, or converting assets using your card consist of a displayed fee and, where applicable, a spread which is included in the price. Any spread is calculated before orders are executed and may differ for similar transactions. This is because the spread is determined based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to transaction size, asset, payment method and market conditions.
<p><strong>Card purchase fees:</strong></p>

	<li>The final transaction fee is provided on the final confirmation page and is visible before you complete the purchase.</li>
	<li>There are no hidden or additional fees and the <strong>total</strong> value shown on the confirmation page is what Kraken will charge to your card.</li>

<p><strong>Card and transaction limits:</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Each transaction has a minimum purchase amount.</li>
	<li>There is a maximum spending amount within a time-based seven day rolling period. This limit is combined with <a href="https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/4405883992724-Digital-wallet-purchases" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Apple Pay or Google Pay</a> purchases.</li>
	<li>Purchase amounts count towards your daily and monthly funding limits.</li>
	<li>A maximum of three attempts to save your payment card is allowed within a 30 day rolling period. <strong>Deleting saved cards will not reset this limit</strong> so be mindful of this before removing any of your saved card details. Card information is securely stored and displayed according to PCI compliance regulations.</li>
	<li>For clients in the USA, a maximum of one card can be added within a 30-day rolling period and a maximum of two attempts to add a new card is allowed.</li>

<p>Your card will remain stored for transactional purposes, unless you decide to remove it. For legal and regulatory purposes, we will continue to store records of your transactions in accordance with our client <a href="https://www.kraken.com/legal/privacy" target="_blank">Privacy Policy</a>.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If your card was charged but you did not immediately receive your crypto assets, the transaction will automatically be voided within two hours.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p class="callout__text">Certain deposits, such as first time <a href="https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360061352231" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">ACH purchases,</a> <a href="https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048212832" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">debit or credit card purchases</a> or<a href="https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/4405883992724-Digital-wallet-purchases" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"> digital wallet purchases</a> will trigger a temporary (72 hour) withdrawal hold on the account, for security purposes. For enhanced security, <a href="https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048212832" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">debit and credit card purchases</a> using USD may experience the 72 hour lock discussed above on <strong>all</strong> <strong>purchases</strong>, not just your first purchase.</p>

		<li>Once you have added your bank account, scroll to the bottom of the page, and select the bank account from the drop-down menu.</li>
		<li>Enter the amount you wish to withdraw and click on <strong>Review Withdrawal</strong>.</li>
		<li>Do not use punctuations or currency symbols (use 1000 instead of &euro;1,000).</li>
		<li>Check that the details are correct and click <strong>Withdraw</strong>&nbsp;to confirm the withdrawal.</li>
